What is the difference between Matrice 4E and Matrice 4T?
Matrice 4E has a 20 MP 4/3 CMOS wide camera with mechanical shutter for mapping and survey work. Matrice 4T has a 48 MP 1/1.3-inch wide camera, a 640 x 512 native thermal camera and a NIR auxiliary light for inspection and public-safety work. Both share 48 MP medium tele and tele cameras and a laser rangefinder.
Which model is for mapping and surveying?
Matrice 4E is the survey-capture model, with a mechanical shutter and a 0.5-second minimum photo interval. Matrice 4T is aimed at inspection and thermal workflows rather than survey capture.
Is the Matrice 4 Series waterproof?
No. The aircraft is not waterproof. Avoid contact with water and review weather and operating conditions before flight.
Which controller is supported?
DJI RC Plus 2 Enterprise is the standard controller. DJI RC Plus 2 Enterprise Enhanced is optional and sold separately. Dual-controller operation should not be assumed.
Which DJI apps and software are used?
DJI Pilot 2 runs on the controller for flight and mission work, and DJI FlightHub 2 supports fleet and collaborative workflows. Available features depend on the model and firmware.
How is the aircraft charged?
The reference package includes one Matrice 4 Series Battery, a 100W USB-C power adapter and the Matrice 4 Series Charging Hub. MIRS confirms the exact regional package before order.
What is included in the package?
The reference package includes the selected aircraft, one flight battery, RC Plus 2 Enterprise, 100W USB-C power adapter, charging hub, microSD card, matching gimbal protector, Cellular Dongle 2 pry bar, three propellers, AC cable, two USB-C data cables, storage case and shoulder strap. Propeller and cable variants can differ by region, so MIRS confirms the final supplied contents in the quotation.
