What to know before ordering.
Can the S1 light a scene without an aircraft?
No. It is a drone-mounted payload and needs a compatible aircraft.
Which aircraft support the S1?
Matrice 400, Matrice 350 RTK and Matrice 300 RTK are supported (the M300 requires DJI RC Plus).
How far does the light reach?
The beam has a 15 deg field of view within 150 m, and effective illumination reaches 500 m in Both On mode. Both are lab figures; real results depend on conditions.
Does it differ between aircraft?
Yes. Central illuminance at 100 m is 40 lux on Matrice 400 and 35 lux on Matrice 300/350 RTK in Both On mode.
